Green and white barrier tape is used a visual warning used to restrict access and cordon off areas. Available in green and white stripe, it provides a highly recognisable visual warning. On civil and construction sites, hazard tape is used to notify the general public about ongoing work and the possibility of hazards.

This type of barrier tape is regularly found on civil, construction and demolition work sites. Used across Australia and New Zealand on civil work sites and during construction and road work, it acts as a simple barrier to control pedestrian foot traffic and alert low speed vehicle traffic.

Barrier tape is the cheapest and quickest way to erect a temporary barrier. Installation is simple, just attach the barrier tape by wrapping or tying it to almost anything. It’s not unusual to see green and white barrier tape tied to machinery after hours, or mounted to traffic cones, T-top bollards and star posts forming an effective visual barrier. It can be used to show an obvious visual danger warning, with the bright green and white colouring indicating a no-go area.
