Product Description

A heavy duty, high temperature anti-seize thread compound suitable for heavy pressure applications. Loctite Silver Grade LB8150 is a silver, aluminum, petroleum-based anti-seize lubricant paste fortified with graphite and extreme pressure (EP) additives. It is inert and won't evaporate or harden in extreme heat or cold. It can tolerate high temperatures to +900 degrees C and is suitable for assemblies where such temperatures are possible.

LOCTITE 8150 is an anti-seize lubricant to protect threaded connections exposed to high temperatures up to 900 degrees to prevent seizing and corrosion. This product prevents seizing or jamming in joints exposed to high temperatures (e.g. exhausts of combustion engines and fittings or oil and gas burners).

This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as a lubricant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials. For safe handling information on this product, consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

Placement:

Apply to clean parts which need lubricating, avoid excessive lubrication.
