The Everest davit base is suitable for use with the Everest 33-DARM davit arm and base system. These are coupled together to provide a fixed anchorage point for work winches or rescue systems. Commonly used for entering confined spaces, the davit arm has the ability to be removed from the base and moved to sites where there are other fixed bases. The arm can swivel and provides easy access in many confined space situations. Note that rescue and winch systems such as this should always be installed and then certified by an engineer prior to use to ensure safety and reliability.
