Product Description

Charcoal Poly Constructile directional tactile blade measuring 290mm long. Poly tactile indicator tiles are suitable for installation on a range of substrates including tiles, pavers, concrete, bitumen and exposed aggregate. Using a concrete saw, cut a groove into the pavement and slide the thin blade into the slot in the concrete.

TGSI's or Tactile Ground Surface Indicators are tactile tiles made from porcelain or plastic. Tactiles are used for indicating direction and hazards for blind or vision impaired people. Available in various colours, these tiles help with wayfinding by offering feedback on upcoming hazards such as road crossings or train platform station edges. They create a safer environment and are specified by many transport authorities and civil construction firms. The correct dimensions and location in relation to the hazard is critical to ensure safe wayfinding for visually impaired people - refer to local guidelines and engineering advice for your specific project.
