Underground cable covers are crucial to preserving essential services. They are made from tough plastic and prevent costly damage to buried cables caused by accidental contact with excavation equipment. Hardcover cable covers provide increased protection for underground cables and enclosures against mechanical damage.

Cable covers provide a solid protective barrier as well an early visual warning. Also known as hardcover tapes, they are designed to stop penetration and will last for years underground without degrading. Polymeric cable cover strips are placed underground, positioned above the cable, to give an early warning that there are live cables below. Manufactured in accordance with Australian Standards, they provide long-term protection of essential services and infrastructure pipelines. Cable covers are suitable for many applications, including power upgrades, gas projects, wind farm development and gas infrastructure.
