Tru Level Rapid Patch is a polymer modified, rapid hardening and drying, high early strength, rapid drying, slump- free and shrinkage compensated repair mortar for vertical and horizontal flooring. Tru Level Rapid Patch may be used for internal and external applications. Mixed mortar sets after 15-20 minutes and can be trafficked after 45 minutes.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation:

Ensure substrate is clean and free from oil, grease, sealers, curing compounds, polymer coatings, dust or any other contaminant or coating that may affect the bonding of Tru Level Rapid Patch onto the substrate. All foreign materials, e.g. bitumen, adhesive or latience must be removed by mechanical means such as scabbling, capture shot blasting or grinding. The substrate does not usually require priming unless excessively dry.

Porous substrate must be primed with Level Hard Primer. Non Porous substrate must be primed with Epoxy Primer. New concrete floors must be at least 14 days old prior to application of Tru Level Rapid Patch. Refer to the Technical Data Sheet for more information.

Mixing:

Tru Level Rapid Patch requires 3.8 - 4.2 litres of clean water per 20kg bag and is best mixed with a forced action, high shear stirrer, powered by a heavy duty electric mixing drill. Tru Level Rapid Patch has a very short working time. It is advisable to mix up quantities that will be used within the working time and it is recommended to work in small areas. Discard any Tru Level Rapid Patch that has hardened or stiffened in the mixing bucket.

Placement:

When filling holes and cracks, apply the Tru Level Rapid Patch into the hole well. Ensure the Tru Level Rapid Patch comes into total contact with the substrate by applying firm pressure to the trowel. It is recommended to leave the repair proud of the hole or crack for about 10 minutes, then trim off the excess and finish off with a damp steel trowel. As soon as the Tru Level Rapid Patch has hardened, the area can be leveled over with Tru Level Econo Pro. No curing is required.

Clean Up:

Tru Level Rapid Patch should be removed from tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Storage:

Shelf life of approx. 12 months if kept in a dry environment away from moisture.

Yield:

One bag mixed with 4.2 litres water will yield approx 13 litres. This will cover approximately 13 square metres at 1mm thick.
